Studio fSP provided pro bono design services for this neighborhood-based initiative to transform an urban vacant lot into new small park. The Tree Park features a small forest of native trees and woodland plants with a sequence of paths for walking and contemplation. A sculptural shelter element, to be built in a future phase, will function as a gateway to the park and as a symbolic gateway to Upper Lawrenceville. The central portion of the park is landscaped with native, pollinator friendly plants that provide a rich bouquet of texture, aroma and color in spring and summer.
